All our giclee prints are produced with archival quality papers, canvas and inks. To further ensure their stability, each one is given a protective coating as well. If hung out of direct sunlight and kept dry, they should last much longer than any of us.
Our canvas prints are mounted on artist’s stretcher frames and can be used unframed or framed. They shouldn’t be covered with glass and can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. The back of the print must be kept dry or it will cause the front coating to bubble or peel. If necessary, the front can be lightly wiped with a slightly damp cloth to remove stubborn dirt.
Our paper prints should be framed behind glass and, like all artwork, should also kept out of direct sunlight.
After the specialized work of preparing the initial files, prints can be produced in many different sizes. As a general rule, the canvas prints are priced at approximately $40 per square foot with the exception of a few of the very popular prints. Paper prints are priced at approximately $25 per square foot.
We don’t recommend making canvas prints smaller than 12” square because the detail gets lost in the canvas texture.
Obviously, the print sizes vary a great deal depending on the proportions of the original artwork. The prices below will give you an idea of what to expect for a few standard sizes.
